Cymon's ASCIIpOrtal is a triumph/HUGE SUCCESS

The above showcases the latest for the ASCIIpOrtal project, a recreation of the amazingly fantastic game Portal using Ascii characters only.  The game, created by Cymon Games is currently going through Beta testing and will hopefully be released "When sound and menus have been added. Soon-ish."

Without even playing Valve's space warping puzzler, user Cymon began crafting what is ultimately turning into a major project.  The game, featuring puzzles, companion cubes, and shifting/rotating levels will also hopefully include an online component of sorts.  I for one would love to see this hit Indy Games (formerly Community Games), but for legal reasons I doubt that will ever happen.
